Starting An Affiliate School

Kimber Academy Affiliate Program
Dear Friends,
Over the past number of years, many people have asked how they can become involved in setting up a Kimber Academy in their area.
After much study and consultation, the International Board of Directors of
the Glenn J. Kimber Academy-National, have decided to offer the opportunity, to those who
qualify, to establish and own an Academy in their area. Here is how it
works.
Those interested in having and running their own academy, can apply to the National Office of the Glenn J. Kimber Academy to establish an affiliate academy in their own area. (801-722-5620 or e-mail to: info@glennjkimber.com or kimbernational@gmail.com)
To become an affiliate academy, those applying must agree to:
- Use the Kimber Academy curriculum
- Be trained along with all their staff by the National Office, following the guidelines in the Administrative Manual
- Have their students tested three times per school year by the Kimber Academy National Testing Center
- Follow the guidelines in running their academy as found in the administration manual
- Abide by the requirements necessary to be able to use the Kimber name as an affiliate
- Pay appropriate fees for training and affiliation with the Glenn J. Kimber Academy National program.
In addition, all graduates must be certified by the National Office.
These conditions are designed to insure that students attending and graduating from Kimber Academies will all have met the standards of academic and moral excellence regardless of the Affiliate Academy they attended.
The organizers in each area will have partial ownership of and will administer their local academy. They will be partnered with the National program.
Each school will be named Glenn J. Kimber Academy-(Insert Local Community)they will also choose and hire their own staff; they will follow their own schedules and determine their own tuition and fee amounts.
The Glenn J. Kimber Center National Office will assist in helping each Administrator achieve success.
This way they can take advantage of all the years of experience the
Kimbers and their national staff have had in setting up and running over
70 academies and learning centers for the last 30 years.
The Kimber National Office will guide the new owners in helping them
select the type of organization that best fits their wishes and circumstances.
They will also guide owners in selecting a school location, and guide them in
getting their business licenses.
The entire set of curriculum consisting of over 80 texts and study guides will be available for use within the classroom. The tried and tested Kimber Academy administrative and teacher manuals will be loaned to the local academy.
These include separate manuals for each of the staff positions such as:
- Teachers
- Deans
- Special Events Coordinator
- Parent Council
- Student Officers
- Electives Administrator
- Parent and Student training manuals
New Academies will not have to worry about all the details that hinder most people from following their dreams in establishing their local educational masterpiece. Every step is outlined for them, and an ongoing support center will answer questions as they arise.
If you have an interest in becoming part of the dream to have learning centers all over this land, as well as many locations around the world, which are based upon having “religion, morality, and true knowledge” as the core of every subject, just contact the Glenn J. Kimber Academy-National today. (801-722-5620 or e-mail to: info@glennjkimber.com or kimbernational@gmail.com)

I am just getting acquainted with your schools and curriculum and want to use it for homeschooling my children as soon as possible, however, I would also love to take part in the next training session. I want to be well prepared to teach my children and am even entertaining the idea of starting a school here (gilbert, az) as I think it would be embraced. I would also like to visit one of your affiliate schools to get a feel for how things are run and see the classroom first hand. Please contact me with information on how I can become a part of your next traing session.
Thank you,
Stacey Randall
Hello Stacey!
Will you contact me if you’re still interested… I live near Gilbert & I would love to help with an affiliate Kimber Academy.
Thanks,
Julie
Dear Mr. Kimber,
We met several years ago, you came out to my home in Washington to do a meeting with me and several other homeschool moms. I currently live in a small town in Tennessee called Leoma. We moved here to let our children try public school for the first time of their lives in a prek-8th grade small country school. We have come to realize that no matter where you go to experience “public” school, it is the basically the same.
All of my children want to homeschool again next year. I on the other hand have seen the benefits of being with a group setting and I have followed on the internet the advances that your school has made over the years. I feel we may be at a point to progress and possibly even open our own school here. I would like to know when your next training is, or even if you have one next August, since we are planning on a trip out west with our family.
My mother, Vicki Hull is currently working in one of the Kimber affiliate schools in Boise, and says this is the kind of school she has been looking for, for years now.
My phone number is 931-279-2234
Thank you for taking the time to get me some more information on how to progress and to how to analize if this would be a good venture for our family.
Sincerely
Terra Cross
Stacey,
I would love to hear what’s happened since this response last March. I like the curriculum & have a daughter who will be high school age soon & am trying to decide what to do for her. I’m not far from Gilbert…in Dobson Ranch.
Thank you!!
Audrey
I attended Benjamin Franklin Academy, now Kimber Academy, during my 10th and 11th grades. I loved my experience and all those who I graduated with have also. I now have 4 children and have been homeschooling for 5 years, I would love to have Academy in our area. I would absolutely love to have one here. I could not begin one on my own but would support one and spread the word vivaciously and I am sure it would be fast accepted here as people delight in hearing my high school experience. We live in the San Joaquin Valley in California.
I would love to become involved, Katherine! I think we can do it!!!
