Dr. Kimber

Glenn and Julianne Kimber are the Founders and owners of The Center for Educational Restoration, Inc., which was formed in 1990 and registered in the state of Utah. In 2001 Glenn and Julianne joined with their six children to form a new company called KimbCo, which replaced C.E.R.

For over 30 years the Kimber family has been involved in a number of business enterprises as well as educational opportunities.

Dr. Kimber’s vocations have included: serving four years in the Air Force (with one year in Vietnam), working as a general contractor, assisting in a private school as principal and teacher, conducting tours to Israel, authoring a non-conventional curriculum, and lecturing in nearly all the U.S. states, as well as several foreign countries.

His undergraduate studies were in Accounting and Business Management and he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University in 1971. He has also received a Doctorate of Humanities Degree from Coral Ridge Baptist University of Florida in 1988, and a Ph.D. in Education from George Wythe College in 1994.

In conjunction with his work in the field of education, Dr. Kimber travels throughout the U.S. and Canada, and presents training conferences and seminars to home schoolers and other interested groups. During these meetings he also helps parents understand their role as educational guides for their children, how to incorporate scripture into their every-day teaching experience in all subjects, and how to apply tools and techniques of effective teaching.

Julianne has assisted her husband in writing over 22 textbook study-guides covering the subjects of History, Science, Math, Language Arts, and Religious Studies. These popular books are based on scriptural application, as well as community service, emphasizing a love of learning for students of all ages.

Mrs. Kimber has compiled and illustrated these textbooks, and has also authored the popular “I Love America” volumes. Both volumes of “I Love America” were written for elementary ages, and are currently used by teachers and parents in public, private, and home schools throughout the country.

Mrs. Kimber earned a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies in 1993 from George Wythe College, and one year later received a Masters Degree in Religious Education from Coral Ridge Baptist University of Florida. She is the daughter of author W. Cleon Skousen.

Dr. and Mrs. Kimber are the parents of eight children (six living) and grand-parents of 25.  They currently reside in Salt Lake City, Utah .  (Headquarters of Kimber Academy and the Thomas Jefferson Center for Constitutional Studies (TJC) are at 187 W. Main Street, Lehi, Utah 84043.)
